Background:
Gwany Muhammad Badamasi is a Nigerian Wahhabi Sunni Muslim. He was born in Potiskum city in Yobe state of Nigeria on sunday 21-03-1415 AH; 28-08-1994 AD. He is from the Kanuri ethnic group, the dominant ethnic group in Borno and Yobe states of Nigeria.
EDUCATIONAL CAREER:
Badamasi acquired two primary schools certificates from two different schools:
1. Abdullahi Ibn Mas'ud Islamic Academy, Potiskum (evening classes) from 2001 to 2006, where he studied Arabic & Islamic courses.
2. Central Primary School, Potiskum (morning classes) from 2002 to 2008.
He studied at IPS Nationwide Schools and Technoserve Limited, Potiskum, acquired his West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) at Hope Secondary School, Kaduna in.
After he left Abdullahi Ibn Mas'ud Islamic Academy, he enrolled into a Qur'an memorising school, 'College of Qur'an Memorisation, Potiskum' (evening classes) from 2006 to 2011, where he memorised the Holy Qur'an.
Badamasi went for Remedial Studies (2013/2014 session) at School of Basic & Remedial Studies, (SBRS), Funtua, a remedial school of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU). And he now secured admission into Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, undergraduate programme, Faculty of Science, Physics Depertment, for a BSc. degree.
